MURUGAN

Murugan is the son of Sreenivasan and brother of Janoo.  He works for LIC.  Now he is Sengi.  He plays chess.  With a chess tournament at his office he came over to Vellore to see us during Santosh's Poonal. He is proud that he is the father of a son.  His cousin brothers Ganesh and Kumar have only female offspring.  He said that he has got a son with Ayyamani Iyer's - what you call - genes(?)

We could also see Geetha at Vellore who is his sister.  It is sad that they lost their parents when they are about to start their families.  Banu - Murugan's elder sister lives at Madras.  We could not meet her.  May be in another occasion we may meet her.

  1. Hey tell me,

Why do so many cultures seem to favor male offsprings and not female offsprings. Like the Chinese, they are only allowed two offsprings per marriage, they will "dispose" of female offsprings to try for males!!

This is awful, is it not? Especially since it is the FEMALE that gives birth to the children. She is so important to the up bringing of the next generation, also.

I think that this is why "The CREATOR" decided that there is 15 women to every one man!! I also do not believe that there should be one man to evey one woman in wedlock.

It should be at least 5 or 6 women to every one man. In a communal wedding, so that the man, if he is fertile, will be assured of offsprings.

    Both male and female.

This world is cockeyed as it is now. Crazy human beings!!

Reading quotations for motivation. Good or Bad?

after all these mad scribblings are about good bad and searches! Reading too many quotations sometimes is like over eating. The mind becomes unclear and wanders restless...(sometimes becoming very blank) It is the stage when I feel: 'reading quotations is useless' Some time ago I made an attempt to have just four quotations ready - just like some instant energy giver - to motivate me any time. Searching quotations, with the aim to short list for instant energy giving - the mind was blocked - making myself to quote: "reading quotations is of no benefit" At this stage I thought, let me have one quotation - just one - to motivate me any time....... I got this one: Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
