Forty Things

This week my writing exercise is supposed to be listing 40 things that happened this month and selecting one thing to write more about. The month end has already begun and the week end too. Night Inspection is one thing that happened this month and during this week end and gives me a chance to compose this. The nice thing is that I'm composing this in a word document. It may be considered as   the best thing among of the happenings this month worth writing about. The added thing is that I am having now the lavish supply of solitude as I'm in a berth of a Railway Coach. Perhaps this may be considered as the second worth writing. The 38 other things would be the lows at the office, the tiffs with wife and children and so on and so forth. Some happenings would be very private and many things have to be really forgotten. So a little more about writing. The writing is interesting as I'm using QWERTY key board in my Samsung phone and using word document of the application Polari...

12 things to do when I don't have "Internet"

Just imagined the era when, 'wheel' was invented. Also the times when 'Electricity' and 'Trains' were invented. If I was available in this world at those times I would have been curious: When the 'wheel' would come to my town, when my house will have light using 'Electricity'. I would be reading in the newspapers about updates as to how/when the Rail network would come to my town.  Think of how I'll enjoy the first ride and take my family for a ride. Somehow, I'm available in this world when the 'Internet' has come to this world. Expected the 'Internet' coming to the browsing centers, to my home and to my cell phone. All the varieties of internet has come to my home and am doing 1000+ things fighting with my family members to have my turn on the computer. Now, if the 'Internet' is not available what are the 12 things I can do ....... 1) "Oh oh... No no.... I should have internet" The first thought goes to...

12 things to do when "Electricity' Fails

This week the prompt says to list out 12 things to do when 'Electricity' goes out. The prompt says 'Electricity' is a latest dicovery. But I feel 'Internet' is the latest discovery. I should make a list of things which I can do when I am not connected to 'Internet' May be this is the writing exercise for next week. Now to 12 things I can do when 'Electricity' fails. 1) "Shit...." Let me curse the situation. 2) Time to listen to songs from the battery operated radio.  Vividhabharathi  is fine. 3) Yes, it is time to scribble something in my cellphone note pad. 4) "Come on wife, let's talk or start a fight!" 5) Let's light a candle. The light would be awesome. 6) Close the eyes, listen to the vehicle sounds, horn and some distant voices. 7) Oh Oh.....Let me store some buckets of water. "When the power will come back to fill our over head tank?" ‌ "I don't know!" 8) Let me go over to the Balcony and...

Cliche

Hope you had a nice week. It is nice that my writing exercise is improving. For this week, I am supposed to find the 'cliche' I can think of. And am to construct a poem keeping cliche as the first sentence. The cliche I can think of is: moving finger writes Moving finger writes, figuratively I think less literal, understand a bit The fingers I want to move fast. Hold a pen for long. The finger movements are not strong.  Stare at the screen like hell. Fingers don't tap the words fall. Keep seeing my phone. Thumbs ache to move. The lousy brain up above Don't command the fingers to move. More information on cliche. A  cliché  or  cliche  ( UK   / ˈ k l iː ʃ eɪ /  or  US   / k l ɪ ˈ ʃ eɪ / ) is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has been overused to the point of losing its original meaning or effect, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel.  (Wikipedia definition) cliche : A phrase or opinion that is overused and be...

Ohlife

Ohlife after all these mad scribblings are about good bad and searches! "Oh life" - Admire and enjoy 'life' writing a diary. It is good that I have stumpled upon this site on the internet. From April 2011 onwards I have been writing a diary through 'e mail' It is lovely to write a diary entry through e mail. I started writing diary at 'oh life' using my hotmail e mail id. I'm now continuing my e mail diary through my yahoo e mail. In between I switched to other e mail ids to including face book messages. Writing a diary through e mail is comparitively easy. However the bad I felt was : At the end of a tired day, I lay down on my bed and by the time I start composing 'ohlife,' e mail through my mobile device, duely sigining in and reading my mail sent by 'oh life' about the same day, a week ago, a month ago, a year ago - I forget all the events of the day. I may write one or two sentences. It is okay  - the one...
