Grapes for good health

FOOD FIX
Refreshing, nourishing andgor geous grapes are in season.
Rich in sugar, minerals andvi tamins, grapes are easily digestible.
Their juice acts as a stimulant tokid ney function and helps the body flush out toxins. Grapes mixed with honey make an excellent nerve tonic. Grape oil is extracted from grape seeds and used as salad oil. Instant pickle
Ingredients : Seedless green grapes — 4 cups, Roasted methi seeds(pow dered) — 1 tsp, Red chilli powder — 1 1/2 tsp, Turmeric powder — 1/4 tsp, Powdered sugar — 2 tsp, Salt to taste, Lime juice — 2 tsp.
Seasoning : Oil — 2 tbsp, Mustard seeds — 1 tsp, Asafoetida — A pinch, Red chillies — 2.
Method : Wash and pat-dry the grapes; cut them or slit themvertical ly. Mix all the ingredients together and keep aside. Add the seasoning. Shake well and allow to soak for 2-3 hours.
This dish can be served with rotis or rice. Stored in the fridge, it lasts for 4 or 5 days.
