an extensive education system and created
a vast body of highly skilled academic people
equipped with scientific and technological capabilities,
humanist, philosophical thought and creativity.
The education of India to its
large and youthful population,
with its social and religious complexities, is not easy.
Inspite of so many complexities India has achieved much
progress in the field of education India has around
164 universities, 11 institutions of national importance,
38 institutions with university status, and more than 8,600
echnical, arts, and science colleges. From the above
information it is clear that India has achieved much progress in the field of education.
