Two quizzes with this post.

The Good and the Bad at the moment! GOOD: Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching! BAD:Answer to the quiz posted in Ganesha visergene The answer is Charcoal. In Homer Simpson's words: hmmmm... Barbecue. SEARCH: janibalufamily PICTURE: national geographic MOOD:

Ganesha visergene

The Good and the Bad at the moment! GOOD:If you click the title of this post you will know more about Ganesh Chathurthi festival. Here is the answer to the question asked in the last posting: Freeze them first. Take them out of the jugs and put the ice in the barrel. You will be able to tell which water came from which jug. Here is a new question with this posting: What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away? Jani enjoyed the visergene of so many pilliars. The 12 feet deep pond at Sahakaranagar Ganesh temple is a good facility to immerse the elephant God. The officials told to remove all the plaintain leaves and flowers which have now become of 'discard' quality and put it in the dust bin. Only Pillairs have to be 'sunk'. Some pilliars begin to swim atop the pond. They have tobe holed - so as to water to be filled inside and the idols could go deep inside. Menu during these three days: Afternoon of 20th: Cab...

Sridhar (Arusuvai Arasu Drive-in Restaurant). It serves two and that too in half-an-hour. Heat a cup of rice flour. Warm two cups of water in a heavy kadai. Add two spoons of gingili oil. When the mixture becomes upma-like, remove it from the fire. For the filler (poornam): Heat jaggery and grated coconut until it melts. Do not add water. Lower from the pan and roll into balls. St...

What's cooking?

The Good and the Bad at the moment! GOOD:She said that cut cabbage is available. I asked whether son likes cabage kootu rice at school. She said: "Why do you worry? I will make something." She was in dressing mood after the bath. Later she showed the cut pieces of cabbage to me. Now I retorted: "You make something and why do you ask me?" She had an answer for that: "Oh I did not know the qantity then" (for kootu the amount of cut cabbage required is less and for curry it is more) Okay it was decided to make cabbage curry and capsicum kolambu today. Daughter will take the afternoon food to her brother today to school. Son's master wanted to talk to her about the coming CET selection. Took son on the mo-bike to school after a long time. Answer to the quiz mentioned in the blog "Happy blogging" The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry. New qui...
