Que Sera Sera By G K Gupta The song was an instant hit in the USA and equally popular elsewhere. Those fans of Alfred Hitchcock, now in their 70s, will recollect the great movies of that master of suspense, like ‘North by Northwest,’ ‘Psycho,’ ‘The Birds’ and others. But what fascinated me most was ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much,’ released  in India during the late 1950s. This is the only Hitchcock movie with a song. The song  ‘Que Sera Sera’ (Whatever will be, will be)  sung by Doris Day has not been outdated by the ravages of time nor its impact  abated. Written by Livingston and Evans, the song received the 1956 Academy Award for the best original song. The song was an instant hit in the USA, the UK and equally popular elsewhere. DULLNESS

after all these mad scribblings are about good bad and searches! Learnt to make dullness also interestesting.(good) This morning I came across two interesting articles in Readers Digest (issue March 2010). One is about www.dullmensclub.com and another about Helen Walne. I went to dullmens club in my mobile and now got the opportunity to come to the site in my computer. (seeing sites in mobile is dull lol - BAD) In her virtual vanity essay (Quirks) Helne Walne who lives in Capte Town, South Africa says when she's not goggling, she enjoys wining, dining and running with her dogs. It was her dream to see her name in lights: Perhaps an interview in National Geographic for her work with Rwanda's apes. May be an Oscar for her portrayal of a feisty heroine in an epic drama, preferably set in India. Or a Nobel prize for poetry.
